I appreciate the storytelling and its flow and presentation; very good, and interesting. I like the suspense and plot twists, and how it is four huge stories in one series, instead of the same concept for twenty seven episodes like Sailormoon or other cheap Americanized animes. Keeps it from being boring, however the fan base really throws me off, and the rest of the show is laughable at best.
Why is Kakarott so mentally retarded? Is that what makes him so special? And all that stuff about Vegita not having any emotions but actually clearly being the most emotional character in the show spawning millions of pseudo anime emo freaks? Interesting. Also, I could do without all those blasted fillers, such as Kakarott and Piccolo learning to drive. In most cases, I would approve of this sort of thing as the building of the character's personalities, but in THIS case, the character personalities are so shallow and un-tweaked that it is baseless and useless. It is evident that they all have one specific characteristic or special blatant trait to benefit the concept of the show, so please, less socializing, and more destruction. |
