Tough does not need to fall into the type of being a bully to hide feelings and such like... and being the stereotypical "tough girl" that is in many cartoons. Those types are not really tough because they struggle with their own feelings... somthing like that.
I mean, that being tough really is having feelings and not hiding them and trying to ignore them by being insensitive.
And if that type of tough girl would probably have no problem getting boys to like her.
