I'm dure you already got these answers but I'm gonna say it all depends on whether you belive in Creationism or Evolution (assuming you believe in one of the two)
If Creationism, then the chicken. Because God made people and birds and animals and **** and then they laid eggs. Or at least so says the bible.
If Evolution, the egg. Because the creature that laid it wasn't exactly a chicken, but some creature genetically similar to a chicken whose egg had some sort of mutation during fertalization.
If neither, I don't know.
