another day

Today was another day that I proved to be true to my name--invisible.
I spoke to someone, and they took no notice. I spoke rather loudly, even throwing their name in, and they didn't even look at me.
I started telling someone else about something really awesome that had happened to me just before, and she said, 'Hang on a sec,' when I was WELL into my story. She hadn't looked up since I had begun. Then, I sat down and waited. Another woman came into the room and she sat back and said, "Well hello! What's up?" As soon as she finished talking to her, she went back to her typing, me still standing in front of her. Then another guy came in, and she looked up again, and talked to him. I just sighed, and said, "I'll be back after while," and walked out. She didn't even acknowledge those words I said.
My life sucks.
