Romance Irritation

I gotta say, I'm dissapointed, and really depressed.
My GF, Heather, who I've been dating for three years, decided to call it quits yesterday. This happened the first day she started going to the same school as her ex, who cheated on her four times.
(here comes cliche everyone!)
The first day, he gave her a poem he wrote. That same night, she asked me, "If I broke up with you, would you still want to be a good friend to me.". Of course, me being a dull witted male, didn't see this one coming at first, so I told her straight up. "It would hurt me alot, but I'd still be your friend at the very least.".
Sure enough, yesterday, she askes me if we could just be friends.
Three years of endless love and compassion from me gone. Eight years of friendship, out the damn window. She isn't calling me, I tried to call, she dosen't answer.
Love hurts.

| |  My heart hurts for you -not being sarcastic- It must be really hard losing a loved one...but at least you know there's still a chance you might bump into her one day and she'll say, "oh, it didn't work out" and then you'll be able to get back together again. I'm really sorry you're going through this, but at least you're not alone. <33 |
