Okay, this thread is for people who've cosplayed as FF characters, just to write about how it went and stuff. I'll start off!

I've only cosplayed twice, first as Yuna, then Tseng. Yuna was for a friend's cosplay party, and we knew about it months in advance, but no one got stuff together until the week before it! My friend went as someone from Bleach, and she + my other friend had to handstitch her costume for hours... and then it had pretty much fallen apart by the end of her party.:P My other friend went as Dark from DNAngel, which went okay, except that the wings were nearly impossible to make! Another friend was supposed to dress as Kira from Death Note, but in the end he just wore a Death Note tie, and our other friend didn't bother at all! The cheek!:P It was a small party...
So then, Yuna. I borrowed one of my mum's skirts that was just about purple, and I didn't give myself enough time to do the hairpiece. I thought I had a white top, but then I couldn't find one, so I ended up borrowing my friend's mum's scarf and wrapping it round like Yuna does. It was only just long enough, and VERY unflattering :P... + I was playing guitar hero, and it was tight around my neck, which was annoying. I used a thick black belt that was also my friend's mum's... and I cut the ends off the sleeves off one of her cardigans, though it was white, so it didn't look quite right... and, for some reason, the whole ensemble was BOILING!!!
The boots were good, though.:P
Oh man, the staff! I had to stick a big polystyrene ball onto an old wendyhouse pole, after covering it in gold wrapping paper, and sticking some cloth on the end... and colouring in the ball with an orange permanent marker, as I had no paint. Then the ball wouldn't stay on, so I had to sellotape it, which really killed things:P It was just over a metre long, and my friend lives quite a way away, so then...
...I had to take it on the bus.
I hit about 5 people, and successfully infuriated everyone else. I was scared the ball was going to fall off, so i had to hold it really carefully, but then i was balancing two other bags...
Yeah, I made a lot of enemies that day.:P And the ground was icy, so I was terrified I was going to overbalance and fall as I walked from the bus stop.

2 Tseng.
This went a bit better, despite me only having two days to get the costume together- there was supposed to be a cosplay event in town which I heard about at the last minute. I just wore school trousers, a suit I borrowed off my dad, a black belt that could pass for a (very short) tie, and a friend's shirt. I went as Tseng BC/CC, as the suit was black and I didn't want to grease my hair back. (though it didn't really work tied back either, as I had afro roots at the time...)
It was fun! I had to do the washing up, dressed as Tseng, before I went out, and I was like, 'Tseng does the washing up! Tseng does the drying up! Tseng puts away a cup! Tseng should pay more attention to where he puts away the cups, as Tseng put the cup away in the wrong drawer! Silly Tseng!'
When I got into town, there were only like four other people cosplaying, of course. > (Vincent, Black Mage, Cait sith(I think...), Sora)
But mwahahahaha! for i had prepared! I had... a change of clothes!!!
And when I met up with my friends I cosplayed for them, with eyeliner for the Tseng- forehead- dot thingy. Which I then couldn't get off for ages. Oh yeah, and I practically boiled to death, again.:S

3This isn't really a cosplay, but I was in the school play, with a green suit, fake beard and crazy laugh, and at the end of it a friend said 'you looked like Heidegger!'
The annoying thing is that that was the only unintended cosplay, but it was probably the best one...:S

Wow, I really went on a bit! Um, so then, please post your cosplay experiences in this thread! Anyone ever cosplayed as Sephiroth? Or...(Somehow I think this is unlikely)...Kuja? Please share the experience!XD

By the way, I didn't read all that **** so I'm not sure about THAT stuff exactly, but the whole cosplay thing, yeah... sounds like something my brother might do! HAHAHA!

yeah a few times but have no picts so don't ask i grew my hair out dyed it blond and dressed as cloud, went as squall, also ramza on tactics, and i also have gone ye i'm i guy but we thought it would be hilarrious if i did so heres the scoop i went as shiva yes hardly any clothing but it was hilarious my cousins got pics but i think she might of deleted them but if she still has them i'll post them and don't laugh

Eeeeh, I have never cosplayed properlyyy... :P I cosplayed as Namine just recently just because I was heading to an anime convention and figured that what the hey I should be something. So I just put on a white dress and pushed my hair to lie on just one side and brought a sketchbook. And then when I was done looking around there I kinda just sat down somewhere and began to draw Sora and Roxas and Axel and so on in Namine style. xD
I didn't take any pics of myself, nor did my friends take pictures of me. I know there was two people over there who asked kindly to take a pic of me once they realized I was Namine, but I dunno where their pics are. xD

well... ya Kazaf.. is not so bad... you could make some fixes on that jacket.... and would be perfect... what you have really really good is the hair..... thats the only thing I'm having trouble with... but well....
