Let me guess it was because they released the game with another name right?.......... so it was not generating money so the released the game again with the game of Final Fantasy because it was the ¨Final¨ oportunity they have to generate money and ¨Fantasy¨ because they were dreaming for me game it was a good financial for the company......

Um if I remember reading about it when Final Fantasy was made it was the time that RPGs were really popular (such as the Dragon Quest first game) Square needed a game that would save the Square company. Somewhere in the 1980s they made Final Fantasy meaning there last hope or the saying "All or Nothing"...There final hope and fantasy of the company still going on into existence.

Which actually worked it sold millions long story short they survived and Square is now Square Enix...

*Extreme Variant Choc - "Fat Chocobo"/"Chubby Chocobo" resembles a morbidly obese yellow.

*Ordinary Yellow Chocobos - ability of crossing mountains, shallow rivers and tall grasses where your normal character cannot cross.

*Pink Chocobo - untamed, harmful.

*Choco-late - Sweet, usually brown. Wrapped as presents! Melts in hot condition.

I guess there's nine of 'em, but only 3 classes I could have remembered, yah...that's all I can name so far. And I guess none of them is right.

Yah, there are 9 classes of chocobos I think..coz there are some titles were same class of chox exist, namely; FF VI, VII, VIII and X.

There's the normal yellow chocobo, who can run over land.

There's Boko in FF5, which is the main char's pet chocobo.

There's the Fat chocobo, which can hold items.
Blue chocobo - Can travel trough shallow water
Green - Can cross mountains
Black - Can cross shallow water,rivers and mountains
Gold- can go anywhere

There's also a chocobo race in FF11

You would have to be specific because they are different in every game...
In FFX there are crusade Chocobos...In 12 there the ones that you fight so idk im leaving my answer on

Golden- can run over anythhing, mountains ect... to get you breed a black and a yellow
Black- one step dowm from a gold, breed a blue and a green
green- water
blue- mountains
yellow- basic chocobo... breeding can get a green or a blue... or any other of the below colours

ok ive seen the following...
pink, purple, red, white, brown... all in chocobo races

there is also boco... who has already been mentioned.
And chico... from unlimited

YELLOW ;can go anywhere you can normally get to on foot. The sole advantage is that a chocobo is a lot quicker than walking.

BLUE: can walk along rivers, but they can't go past waterfalls. They can also walk in shallow water

GREEN: can run over mountains, even the pointed mountains by Nibelheim. They can also dash over most cliffs and drops.

BLACK:can walk along rivers and move around in shallow water. They can also run over mountains and cliffs.

GOLD :they can also walk in the ocean, allowing you to go anywhere you want, even into the dirt pit surrounding the Gold Saucer


Well i know these on the top of my head and ll just say theres 5 types...

If the fat chocobo counts then he is a summon...(materia)

so that'll be six types

k yeah... I already geve you the point.... but you missed 2

RED: Can fly but only take off and land on Forests

DARK BLUE: can go on deep water, can only enter from beaches and can do the same as the blue chocobo

all of them are free of random encounters


also.. there is the Chicobo... the young version of the chocobo.... Chicobo are from his birth till he reaches 2 years old and start taking off feathers, also their legs grow strong with time... obviously is needed to train by running... and their peek gets harder to dig... but that only in the digger-chocobo (FFIII - IX - XII) ... this last thing doesn't apply in the runner-chobobo (FFI/VI - VII - VIII - X)

also Chocobos loves to be scratched behind their ears (they don't exactly have an ear... but around that sector)
