COMEON People is it so hard to come on and post one thing these days? MYFFnet is getting more dead by the second are most of you are helping!.. I admit it being summer and the RPG Being gone has decreased activity quite a bit..... but theres more. If people dont start being more active....... well MyFFnet is finshed comeon 5 mins a day at least would be nice POST SOMETHING.

You got 781 members. Sure few of them are on, but it's at least 4-7 people posting here everyday or so, isn't it? My forum has 25 members and it's like maybe 1-2 person(s) who post there once a week, and I don't say that my forum is dead, yet.
Sure it's not as active here as it used to be but this is summer. People are on vacations. And before that people had exams to take care of. I bet at the end of August it'll be back to normal.

Jedi, It's true, it could be a lot more active even on summer vacation. I know I myself haven't been around much ( at least not posting ) but, not to make excuses, I am working on various projects for MyFFNet and other sites, and at the end of the day I really don't have much time to come here. Anyways, thats not the point, point is that its not as active as it used to be. I will try my best as an individual to help increase the member count, post count, etc. Just to say it now, I think once my projects are done it will help out with the member count a lot, so if it does it will all be worth while. That is all.

As to my projects, if you wanna know a little more about them, send me a PM or chat with me while I'm online, others you can contact about them, I believe its Squall and Evilynn that know some about them.

By the way, a solution to members only coming for downloads, you could set a requirement for each download, like you have to have so many posts in order to be able to download a certain type of file, or you could limit the daily downloads, so if they do want to download everything, they have to come back more then one or two days.

First of all, MyFFNet is a network, and, to increase our popularity/activity we need to get as many new network sites as possible.
Currently we have only 4-5 sites that drive new visitors to myffnet. Besides, most of our network sites receive less than 50 unique hits a day. Is that enough to be a part of an elite network?

just for your knowledge:
FFELEMENT: about 30 uniques a day
FFSQUARE: less than 30 uniques a day
GOLDEN OCARINA: about 50 uniques a day
FFWORLD: 300-400 uniques a day
FF-XIII.ORG: 600-1000 uniques a day

Yes Im a little bit upset....... And myffnet is not dead (and evilynns forum is a good example of it)

Thanks to you guys now I'll give you new orders and more work:

STAFF (maily mods cuz thats one of their primary duties)...... I'll make an official logo for myffnet (kazaf, evilynn.. Youll help me on this).... And all staff members can make a customized sig but using the logo and you have to use it in every single site outside myffnet, I belive most of you know how to make a signature as a link.... If not PMe and I'll help you on this..... The signature has to have myffnet o it and the logo.... It has to link directly to the register section.... So it will force some people to register....

Revive good old threats (this actually atracts members)


Interesting thing: the forum from cosplaypartycr.com (the cosplay event's forum) gets at least 20 active members a day..... And the forum opened a month ago.... And here in costa rica we're 4mill people

This site is world wide...... Why can't we make it bigger and famous???......a trouble on this is that we can't make that kind of events precisely for the problem of being a worldwide frum...... The solution to this is to make stuff and events on the net........ Nightmare's idea is great..... Appart of that we need to revive the podcast.... The RPG can wait till Eric comes back.... What we need to do is to go on all possible paths were the word "myffnet" can be used..... BRING IDEAS!!


About the download thing..... What we can do is that people can download 20 songs each 5-10 posts..... I dont know.... That will force them to post and check good threats...... And probably make they stay

Also we need to recover he old things we had before myffnet got closed ASAP, like the radio, the image hosting, the mail, etc

Ok just came out with ideas.....
1- I'm planning on haveing a group to make videogame reviews..... I mean video reviews... Like gametrailers.... And add a "site features" section on the layout and main page

Now..... I appreciate Jedi mentioning that we need to get more famous...... But I got really dosaponted with the people saying that myffnet is "dead".... That gives us bad reputation ... Even more making it public.... Cuz this is posted on a public section which is fine .... But for that matter this soils have go to the staff section forum

Well Squall, it isn't a podcast, and if it doesn't work out, I will forget about it. But for now I'm going to do all I can to try and help out, By the way next time your on messenger for a while let me know...

By the way, any MyFFNet graphical designers can help in the creation of this "Logo" Squall is talking about, what we are going to do is create various logo's, anyone who wishes to participate can create one and we will judge them and vote which is best, or we might take 2 or 3 logo ideas and incorporate them into each other, as one good one.

I´m not jumping into conclusions is just that if we don´t make something now this place is maybe going to collapse.... that about the download files always happens, RPG give us a big hit when Eric close it....

Just think about this something that someone told me......... We have to think about something that may attrac people to this forum some projects..... I don´t know what but I´m gonna let you think because the only think that I can think right now is the RPG..............
