MyFFNet Logo & Icon Creation

Well guys, Here I am with this newest project to improve the site ( Credits go to Squall for the idea ) We will be holding a competition in the following weeks, and anyone who has Graphical talent is welcome to join in on it.

As Squall said we need a site logo that can be added to all staff's sigs, and avatars, etc.

So, this is the official thread for requests, suggestions, or anything that you would like to see in this logo. Anyone can make as many "logos" as they want and submit them to the provided thread.

No "logos" will be created for one week from opening date of this thread, this enables members to give their say in the creation, and anything that they would like to be included in the logo, just post your thoughts, any images, etc. that you think could be included and help the creation of the final logo.

The final decision will be made by 4 judges, Kazaf, Evilynn, Squall, and myself.

As of now post your thoughts and suggestions.

wait..... so what I think doesnt matter then? I dont have a say in this at all?

anyways.... I think this will work out if all the designers on this site work at this very hard....

anyways We have to have some FF charater everyone knows in the logo or something that can repersent all the FF at once *I dont even know what that would be*

I think there should be something to do with Aeris and Cloud...since most people who like Final Fantasy know about FF7, and since the theme of those two together is really important in FF7 stuff...or..I dunno...just an idea....

Thank you for responding, Jedi, if you can get MSN by next monday I'm sure we can work this out so you can help out. It's not that you don't have any say in it, It's just we wanted to keep the final decision up to the "Graphically Talented" and I just assumed that you either didn't like to make stuff, or couldn't ( Cuz of your requests ) But ya, if you want to join in on the judging I'm sure thats fine.

Jin, I was thinking the same thing. Final Fantasy VII in my opinion was the biggest hit for Square Enix, thats why they made Advent Children and Crisis Core, etc. But I was thinking it should also include Zack, because he was the first to meet her.

Also guys, keep in mind. For the first week you can also create logo's and submit them, and we can incorporate those into the final decision. Also we will be looking for an Icon for the address bar. Beside where the site address goes is what its used for.

but........ I think we should have diversity on games.... not only FFVII.... I mean its super cool and everything.. but not only based on that...

when I said logo I meant something like.... like the logo of Finalfantasy-xiii.net.... or like Gametrailers.... or like IGN....

C'mon guys, we need more requests, or logo ideas themself. The base decision is this coming monday, so we need to have as much info as possible by then, or the decision will be left up to the staff only.

Now as for myself, The logo should include a 6-point star that has the "MyFFNet" title on it. I also think it should have something that all the games have in common, but what? Thats the question thats been running around in my mind ever since I made this thread, and I think I might have an answer. Square Enix developed all the Final Fantasy games, after FF7 the gaming industry was basically recreated because of the new 3-Dimensional Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII was the first 3-Dimensional game, its basically the new foundation for a world of gaming. Final Fantasy VII plays a big part in it. The following 3-Dimensional games were built upon the foundation of Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII had come out with improved graphics over VII but not as much of an intense storyline, where SE got better in some ways it got worse in others. But thats not the point. I think that FF7 was the core foundation for the gaming industry, I mean, sure it could have been any other game for any other title, but it wasn't the first ever 3-D game was FF7 by the choice of SE. Final Fantasy VII should hold a lot of ground in this.

Maybe on corners of the star have pictures relating to ff7, then?
...Maybe ..Aeris, Zack, Cloud, or Sephy, or Jenova, or Meteor, .. or Chocobos, or something??

You are a genius, The meteor. It doesn't entirely represent FFVII it could be numerous of them.
