In order for you to become a moderator one day, you must be in this current position. When a moderator is needed due to traffic size or one leaving, the formula for selecting a moderator will be.

Post Number - 15 %
Thread Count - 15 %
Number of Articles Written on Partner Sites - 25% (PM if you want to write articles)
Referral Count - 30 %

The point is, the biggest way to become the next mod is referring new members. In order to refer new members, use the following code

FFHoly.com articles are a factor also for referrals. Even though they do not reflect in the number, I see what traffic is coming from the site. I already would consider that Readjusted the forumla.

If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you will see the referral count.
