The Afterlife

What's your believe in the afterlive? Do you think it's religious based or just simply ends? Do you stand on a scientific point of view where we are evolved creatures with intelligence to understand or live in a world of faith that enriches lives in various ways?

I have a hard time between the two.

From the scientific point of view, it seems very logical. You take a human, lock em in a cage from birth and they will never understand their own potential wealth. You can see an example of evolution through the mixing of races, understanding the past, and having a good grasp in scientific knowledge. Even though people laugh about stuff being over 1 billion years old, usually it's the people who don't understand the basics of science, like what an atom is.

From a religious view in the middle, it makes sense to be faithful. All of these emotions of inspiration and of the sin. This is applied to many religions world wide. What is faith and who or what is god? If not a god, what is the source of all good, purity, or simplicity? In the end, humans place themseleves on a testful path where no one bounds to be that paritcular way. It is a journey of the heart and of full belief. The people I most admire are those who love and can argue against their religion, and still love in the end. I laugh at those when I ask, why are you this or that? Really, they give the generic answer... I believe... but it's mostly because whey the raised into. A person who discovers religions on the tests of their own faith, understanding, and seeks their truths has my heart and ear.

Either way, I am just a citizen of the world and hope to discover my purpose soon.

Man, great post. it has got me thinkin. I saw the GOP debate on tv and they was addressing the issue of evolution.

I'm not so much as one of faith.At the same time i'm not one to believe all in science.For me i'm just at the moment tring to find my place in the universe.Be it with or without faith.As for afterlife i figure that it would be tiring to always have an afterlife.I think of it as always being awake and never sleeping.
So i believe to just live in the moment.And when your time comes you'll find out.

I am challenged everyday myself. I'm catholic and feel challenged by too much tradition rather than faith itself.

RipFuel..... well I'm catholic too, but the life will always put you chalenges, and as Yuna says "Be Strong", that's tha only way to beat everything.

And almost everyone belives in a Religion because of their traditions or because their familiars are that way too, but there's nothing to do about it.

The Afterlife (sounds like the Farplane).......well you'll not get tired of it because is your soul who goes passing by.... not your memories.

This will be interesting...... Sometimes don't you feel like you've already lived something?... like you did something twise?..... I think it's because of that... not all the memories you had from your past life are erased.... and it have the likings too, for ex: If you like Tecnology, it'll probably be because you was an Engenier or something like that....... It's my opinion.....

But this is a very delicated and BIG subject.......

The biggest drawback of afterlife is that u may not be able to remember your past. so ask yourself 'who am I without my memories'? I dont wanna live again if I cant remember my past bcz of it is senseless for me. And now, tell me why your god does not provide memories of your past life. he's cruel. ^_-

I'm a man of science, but realize the importance of faith. Like Luther said back in the day "Why do I need to follow another man to get to heaven when he to is full of sin". Three church leaders of my wife; one committed sucide, one stole church funds, and one was relieved cheating on his wife. Scary that these men are the ones who preach the word of god :p

Pityfully, there are people like that....

But who knows how many times we all have lived before in another body.... it's just we can't remember maybe because we need a clean memory to start a new life again... Only God can tell

Those who love the world are without God.

You won't need memories in heaven for it is the greatest and purest place you can be, memories of our filthy unpure world would bring down heaven....
