If the first "chicken" egg came from a chicken, then this must suggest that the first chicken must have came from a "non-chicken" egg. In this case, the chicken came first. Although there's a hole in this logic, depending on wether or not we consider a chicken egg by definition: A) Laid by a "chicken" and/or B) Hatches into a "chicken"

The egg....becuase?
lets put it in a situation... lets we we decide to clone a chicken if we clone it..what do we do to get tha clone?....an Egg..cause we need a egg to start the life..so we have a egg to start life......and we use the egg to start the life....becuase theres no other way...unless your god...anyway.... why the egg?...because its the start of life.XD I just think...things needs to begin to live....not just appear...but...go through the cycle of life? buts that just me............. I'm dure you already got these answers but I'm gonna say it all depends on whether you belive in Creationism or Evolution (assuming you believe in one of the two)
If Creationism, then the chicken. Because God made people and birds and animals and **** and then they laid eggs. Or at least so says the bible. If Evolution, the egg. Because the creature that laid it wasn't exactly a chicken, but some creature genetically similar to a chicken whose egg had some sort of mutation during fertalization. If neither, I don't know.
