i like Aerith. It was Aerith at the start, but they changed it to Aeris or something in KH (I think) and other games, but when AC came out and other games with Aerith in it was back to Aerith. Plus the Japanese version was Aerith too. So the Japanese spelling won in the end, thats what i heard anyway. i can't write in full detail x3

anyways, there are probably lots of reasons, but her name is officially Aerith

Aeris all the way! All 3 of the copies of ff7 I've played spell it Aeris, so it must be the truth!!!:)

Anyone can write the obvious Pairings - Aeris/Cloud, Tifa/Cloud, Vicent/Lucrecia Vincent/Yuffie. It takes real writers-skills to write the more unusual pairings and make them decent stories. Pairings such as Aeris/Seph, Tifa/Seph, Vincent/Tifa.

i heard of "Yudaj" Yuna/Kadaj! I can imagine this working in a way... but what an invention!

And I heard too that her name was originally Aerith, so I wonder why they named her Aeris in the game...& I do think that Aeris fits her better, but I think that Aerith sounds cool though too. I usually say Aerith unless I am referring to the game, then I use Aeris.

Well, in my numerologic system, the both names are from the Reign of Number Seven. The "H" letter in the end of the name have a good motive to stay there.

I think that Aeris sounds better, but I try to remember to use Aerith, since that is her real name.
