Man, I remember being really pissed when Aeris died in Final Fantasy VII when I was a kid! My brother was playing and I was watching him play. And then Sephiroth killed Aeris and my brother was all like "What the hell?! They just killed Aeris!" and I was all like "This is BULLSHIT! They can't kill Aeris!" and my brother was all like: "They just did" and I was all like "That's BULL!" but I've noticed a lot of people say that scene made them cry... Damn, that scene must've been really moving for them. I'm just curious, how did YOU (whoever's reading) react when Aerith was killed?

I cried for a bit but of course I was alot younger back when it happed..... now it just depresses me..... because SHE WAS THE BEST FF CHARATER EVER!

That damn Sephiroth cant fight fair! Aeris had her back turned! add that Aeris was a girl and she WAS UNARMED... he is worse than The Emperor from star wars and Cao Cao from Romance of the 3 kingdoms!! he is worse then PURE EVIL Heck I would go as far as say he is Worse then Hojo

Well, i knew it was gonna happen from spoilers, but it still managed to make me cry, after cloud put her in the water. it's when her arm moves out from in front of her chest, and you realise that she's never going to move it back...:C

I don;t know about that... Like I've said on another thread, Sephiroth might have committed the MOST HATED atrocity in the game, but Hojo outdoes Sephiroth in the sheer NUMBER of atrocities committed in the game. Sephiroth committed quite a few, but all Hojo ever DID was evil ****! He never took a break from that ****! At least Sephiroth took some time to travel around and look for **** to commit his atrocities with! Hojo already HAS everything he needs in his laboratory so he just gets right to work! As fo the whole "Pure Evil" thing... no... I've seen fictional characters FAR more evil than Sephiroth! Tell me something, have you ever watched the movie "Blue Velvet"? Frank Booth is FAR more evil than Sephiroth! Hell, Frank Booth makes HOJO look like a decent person!

It did made me cry...... I don't know... you get like... too much into the game..... you start role-playing the characters... so it kinda feels like real!.. XD

I know Sephiroth made lots of atrocities... as well as Hojo.... but the worst of them was killing one of your most precious characters and one of the most loved ones....

Same here. I didn't cry when that **** happened. Although I WAS kinda pissed! I mean, she was my ****ing party healer! Now who the hell am I gonna use for all my ****ing magic casting?! But yeah, I was surprised when I first heard spomeone say they cried when that scene happened. And even MORE surprised to hear other people say they cried when that **** happened! So that's kinda why I started this post. To see how many people had that reaction to that scene. And to see how other people reacted when that **** happened... I got pissed. A lot of other people cried. You didn't care all thst much. Any other reactions anybody?

The amount of asterisks in your posts makes me hope you get a seven-foot rod shoved so far up your rectal cavity that every single one of your posts becomes nothing BUT asterisks due to the immense pain you feel. Oh wait, I forgot. Swearing makes you a badass and totally makes you correct 100% of the time. Intelligence is shown when you can actually form a reasonable argument without resorting to swearing. Using words like ****, ****, crap, etc. in your common speech simply shows a lack of education and a VERY limited vocabulary. :3

I had a more emotional reaction when Lavitz died in Legend of the Dragoon... THAT was a sad moment, especially when you find out that his replacement is femboy Albert.

I didn't cry when Aeris died, but it was kind of a bummer. Her death messed up my whole party scheme. What was really lame was that Aeris dies and the party loses her, then when Cait Sith "sacrifices" himself he's back 2 minutes later. Even if he had an extra robot body stashed somewhere, it should have taken him a little while to catch up with the party again.

I agree with Iggy Fox about Lavitz. He was a much better character than Albert.

So let me get this straight... because you dislike the use of profanity somebody uses (censored profanity at that) you wish to see them inflicted with the pain of **** rape?! HA! I never said I was badass and last time I checked, this topic was about how you reacted when Aeris died! It's not an opinion thing, it's a question answering thing! Like I'm trying to validate my opinion with cursing or something? What opinion am I trying to validate? That I got angry when my party healer died? That's a fact, moron, not an opinion that needs for me to try to give an appearance of credibility.


And for your information, I grew out of the whole "tough guy" thing a LONG time ago. I have a cursing problem because it's kinda all I really ever got used to hearing growin up. As a little kid I watched violent movies like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs where all people did was yell, curse, and do violent **** to each other. And when I wasn't watching violent movies/shows/whatever where people were yelling and cursing at each other, I would have to listen to (some other people I know) yelling and cursing each other out and ****. So yeah, I've got a cursing problem. But it's not cause I'm trying to come off as some sort of badass, it's cause I've pretty much grown accustomed to it. It's not uncommon for people to fall into bad habits they've had since childhood. I usually don't realize how much I'm cursing (Or sometimes even IF I'm cursing) until somebody makes a comment about it. Does that excuse my behaviour? No. But it DOES mean you shouldn't go off on people and judge them like that, wishing violence on them just cause you PERCEIVE that they might be assholes! (although I AM kind of a jerk, I'll give you that) Although... Now that I look at that post, I realize I DID use mostly curse words to describe what i was thinking... More so than I usually use, but I didn't realize I was cursing all that much when I did it... It's kind of a problem I have sometimes... Anyway, as for Aeris dying, yeah. I always thought she was overrated too. But you've gotta admit, she WAS useful! Up until that point, I almost exclusively used Cloud, Aeris, and Barret. That was one kickass team! Cause Aeris could always do that "Healing Wind" thing! (Or whatever it was called) When she died, that was out of the picture. It sucked.

I did not cry. But I'm a newbie FF fan I guess, Advent Children was the first thing I saw of FF stuff. So, in the first thing I saw, Aerith was already dead. So because of that, when I was finally playing the game itself, I pretty much awaited from the very beginning of the game that she would die. I dropped having her in my party cause I found it pointless, I just thought "I'm gonna loose her anyway" xD
I dunno how I would've reacted if I didn't know it at first...hm. I think I would just be surprised. I wouldn't cry. lol

Like that scene in the Gold Saucer with Barret, where he's clearly upset, and she's like, 'oh, just act normal! :)' and manages to make everything about 50 times worse...:P... and then seems confused about it... I'm sure this is why quite a few people don't like her, though...
I always wanted Cloud to get off with Tifa, which is pretty rare for an Aeris fan, but then that was because I thought that Aeris was too good for him!

the first time i saw it was like when i was like 10 and i simply didnt care. i kinda laughed. sephiroth owned aeris. and it was koool.
but it kinda did mess up my party. and i had to start back to training another party member :/

after like ive passed the game i always felt like playing it again and continuing using aeris even though i know she would die at the end of disc one.
but i finally got her great gospel on her and she turned out to be a great player but i simply wouldnt care cuz i can have another party member cast magic.and all aeris was good was when youre down she can restore ur hp quickly.

oh and i think cheating the ff game is simply a shame smh.
i cant see myself using a gameshark on ff games.
