I hate what he did to Vincent too...... Hojo Is a twisted freak who Zack Should have killed if he got the chance.... if i remmber right in Crisis Core (I was watching my Uncle play it) In one part Hojo , Cloud and Zack were all in the same room... cant remmber it too clearly though...... less people would have been hurt

hmmm... i whould like to say, that is was Lucretcia who gave Vin chaos. She was very sorry though, and i belive she was a good person inside.
What happens is that:
1. Hojo marries Lu for a baby to experiment on
2. he shoots Vin for objecting
3. He experiments on vin to make him immortal
4. Lu uses him for her reserche on chaos and Omega because of the properties hojo gave him.
5. Lu commits suicide, the Jenova in her won't let her die so she seals herself in the cave crystal. this is where she found chaos with grimore valentine, vin's father
6. Hojo goes and takes vin out his test tube and puts his claw on him and stuff and put him in a coffin, probably to tell vin that "you are a monster" Vin decides to stay there. it is likely that vin can remove his claw... hojo wouldnt bother to cut off his hand and give him a fully working mechanical claw. (The leather clothes look like grimore's to me also)
7. the events of crisis core.. ffVii and so on.

Well I haven' t found the time to play trough FF7 completely yet, but I did get far enough to notice Hojo is one sick bastard, and Dirge of Cerberus made it stronger.

That's because they hate Hojo a lot more! I mean, even I hate his disgusting ***, and I usually LOVE sick twisted sociopaths! I mean, Vincent has a manly voice (as heard in the movie and the most recent FFVII games) a generally humane attitude AND he loves her for some reason! Hojo, on the other hand, doesn't have ANY qualities that should attract a woman! He's not even good looking! What the hell?! You know who else is a creep? Don Corneo! He's a creep like Hojo, but unlike Hojo, he's a mutha****in rapist! Even Hojo doesn't stoop THAT low! But yeah, Heidegger DOES also piss me off! I'm also not a big fan of Reeve (Why in the hell would his choice for a remote controlled spy be a cat on a stuffed mog?! That's lame!) But, you know, I'll give Hojo this: He IS a really underrated villain, ESPECIALLY for this game! I mean, think about it! You can't help but hate him, he's a slimeball, he's twisted, he's evil, he's caused MUCH suffering to MANY people in the game and the game wouldn't have actually been what it was without Hojo making things unfold as they did. ESPECIALLY doing so in a way that makes you really hate him! I mean, here Sephiroth is, being considered the biggest villain of the game, and HE'S charismatic and cool! Hojo on the other hand, FATHERED Sephiroth (poorly. VERY poorly), CREATED Sephiroth, tried to HELP Sephiroth destroy everything and everyone on the planet, he's a creep, he's EASILY the most hated character in the game, he's twisted AND if it weren't for HIM, the **** that happened in Final Fantasy VII really wouldn't have gone down! EVERYTHING can pretty much MOSTLY be blamed on HIM! Sure, Sephiroth killed Aeris, which is probably the most hated atrocity committed in the game, but if you think about the number of atrocities committed by Hojo, the number of atrocities committed by Sephiroth PALE in comparison! Hojo's probably a bigger villain than Sephiroth, in MY opinion! He's just not as charismatic or cool! So he doesn't get the credit he deserves! But I still think he's a disgusting creep. I'm just sayin, give credit where credit's due!
