Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable. The game is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII and is also the fourth entry in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, which also includes the games Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII and Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, as well as the CGI movie Final Fantasy VII Advent Children and the anime, Last Order: Final Fantasy VII. Production was overseen by Yoshinori Kitase, the director of the original Final Fantasy VII, with Hajime Tabata as the game's director and Tetsuya Nomura as the game's character designer.

The game mainly focuses around Zack Fair, a 2nd Class (and later 1st class) SOLDIER, and the events leading up to his destined demise. He meets many of the Final Fantasy VII characters, including Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough, with whom he develops strong bonds. The game's storyline takes the player from the war with the Wutai to the events at Nibelheim, and right up to the time just before the Final Fantasy VII beginning. Some of the missing events or plot holes from Nibelheim and afterwards are explained in the animated feature, Last Order: Final Fantasy VII.

I hate Shinra! They betrayed me!!! I knew what was going to happen and it still made me cry! Hmmm...
I said i hate shinra, but i love them too...odd, huh? But i mean, my avatar IS the Turks &Rufus...
Is there any place you can get coffin keys other than fighting the sahagins in Shinra manor basement? (i need them for atk+1 materia fusion for my hell thundaga, but since you can only get four coffin keys at a time it's taking an age...:S

Aww,..... Was it that sad to you guys.... We all knew how it happened..... Guess you'se are just too emotional...

It was more sad because I knew, I think...leading a man to his death...the change to the shinra theme within the shinra building is so well timed...It's the way they just suddenly betray you, so badly!
I was in floods from when Lazard said the shinra had attacked (after you carry genesis up) onwards, until way after the end...and then I was really depressed for two days...I just wanted to sleep...:P

Well, I guess..... It is a LITTLE sad and emotional, I just watched the ending again, and, Its just depressing that Cloud lives because of Zack's sacrifice, depressing but.... I don't know how to explain it. That is also where I got my sig's inspiration from the "True Sacrifice" Zack makes a sacrifice for his friend.

humph, I'm definitely not. It was a first time when I cried at the game ending.

not for me... FF always makes me cry...:P In ff7 i cried at every little thing (well, i was 11 when i first played it, but still) Then the ff8 ending made me cry throughout (i was so relieved to have finally completed it! I was stuck against ultimecia for literally 3 years)... i even cyed in ff9 when dagger cuts her hair, which really was ridiculous...:P then...in ff10... Auron's little speech near the end made me cry...
I really am hopeless...:P
Ah, but in CC, when you put cloud down on the floor and go 'stay here. i'll go take a look around' my heart was in my mouth! (I'm not quite sure, but i seemed to remember that that's what Zack said in the fields near midgar in the original game...)
I was like 'no! you're still in Nibelheim! that's WRONG! and you haven't had the truck yet...the yellow truck...
Then it wasn't the end after all:P
