Opinions on Advent Children

What did you guys think of it?

I personally loved it, a Final Fantasy film that was actually related to the games.
Although, it was probably not the main intention, but obviously one that had been worked on during its development, the characters that came across the best (to me, anyway) were Reno and Rude. Their whole personality was just funny whilst remaining accurate to what we already knew about them. Especially Reno crushing Rude's glasses, and Rude just getting another pair from his jacket!

Glad Rufus was alive too. Was genuinely upset by the part of the game when the Shinra Tower was attacked :p

What about you guys?

I loved the movie, was alot better than squares previous attempt at a movie, the spirits within. But i never played ff7 yet, so i guess i would have enjoyed it more if i had played it.

Dude,

I was happy it came out. I remember when FF7 came out, I played it over and over again just to find new phrase, new treasures, and new things. It was awesome to see it. I was deployed in Iraq at the time and seeing this movie... well, it brightned my day. It was good to see cloud in KH and KH2

I loved it.When i first saw this i was alittled confused.But then i saw it again i was able to get it.Like rldowling03 said this is way better then there pervious attempt.*shudders*Spirts within.

loved it my favorite movie at this time the action,thrill its all good especially the way they brought in summonings to the movie and the powers that cloud and everybody had spirits within was not such a great movie

and its true if you played the game before its kool becuase you get to see the life after you save the world sorta like Final Fantasy X and making the sequel Final Fantasy X-2 * even though it wasnt that great

I kind of liked Spirits Within >.>

Not as much as this, and I didn't think of it as a Final Fantasy film, but I still like it :)

Reno and Rude though...legends.

But Spirits Within, thought it got some pretty bad press.

yeah its true they say why make a movie that isnt based on any game material i tought it was a dumb idea square enix + sony made

a poor idea put now that advent children is out everybody frogot the bad press of spirits within

Ya it was. I don't know. I loved the movie, but it just felt offbeat. It was weird how seporith came back, but would be a great movie if baed off the ff7 game.

Everyone's right.... And I agree with all of you too...

Advent Children was very good.... mainly the progres of graphics (and it is a long movie)....... now.. Cloud's right on that... It could has been better if they based on the movie... because the storyline in there, was great...

I didn't actually get the happenings in the movie before after I'd beaten the game, but the movie was great, and I watch it way too much, lol

well.... It was very good.... I liked it very much,.... but you know I agree with Cloud it could be better if based on the movie......

AC had a lot of things you had to look at closely to notice.
a.In Tifa's house there are newspaper cuttings all over the wall in the phone room.
b.In the bedroom is some drawings of cloud by Denzel and Marlene behind Reno.
c.Everyone has the same phone.
d.Rufus wears 5 shirts
e.All the signs atop buildings are identical
f.When Kadaj bow to Rufus his sword goes right throgh the floor
g.Rude has spare specs
h.Reno's baton never hits anything
i.Yazoo often bounces off Loz's arm
j.Barret has a ring with a wolf on it
k.All members of Avalanche wear a red ribbon

Also:
Cloud's hair. He is:
a. been shot
b.sleeping
c. Jiant blue fireball
d. rain
e.massive fight
f.chopping buildings(how does he not get concrete dust in it.)
g. dead
f . drenched
And hair is still pefectly spiked.
