Seph, as for me liking him... he is very pretty, but thats not important. When he goes mad, i think i understand him. I also feel sorry for him, and want to go into the game and talk some sense into all those "Monsters", that they call themselves. Seph is also realy smart.

but I beg to differ with you incognitoinnominate with you Seph is a crazy lunatic that wants to be a God... betrayed his friends , Burned down a village , was created by Hojo , slew millions without remorce *and not to menton he killed the best FF charater of all time* he deseivered death 3 times or how ever many times he did die why do some many people like him? lol

but thats just my Opinon... but I would really like to know why so many people like him

He looks cool. Creepy but cool. For some reason, the bad guy's gear usually looks cooler than the good guy's...

Personally, i think Sephiroth's one of the heroes of ff7- Shinra tried to make a 'product' they could use to fight their dirty wars at will, and win for them, but Sephiroth broke free from that and went his own way. okay, his way was totally evil, but then he had such a tragic backstory that it's understandable, even if you don't agree with him. You have to feel sorry for him, as for a time he genuinely believed he was an Ancient...
Plus he's got some crazy alien lady speaking in his head, thanks to the Shinra, who keeps telling him to kill stuff.
I can't help but love him.
Which is bizzarre, because Aeris is my fave ff character of all time!
Just see it this way; Sephiroth didn't kill Aeris, Hojo did. If Hojo had actually been a decent guy, Sephiroth wouldn't have been the way he was, Ifalna and Gast would be together, Vincent would have some sort of life (:P) and Lucrecia would be happily married.

head falls onto hand.

Ok 1... being created by hojo does not mean you are bad... if hojo was a decent guy though- as zarzia says- he would be allright.
2. As for his freinds before he went mad he used to be nice... his freinds all thought they were monsters and went off, seph refused to go on missions opposing them.
3. he slew millions without remorse... thats kinda his and all the other soldiers jobs- you can't hold that to him without condemning the other guys...

as for his going mad- he was always searching for the truth of his past. now that he finds what he thinks is it, (dosn't know his human parents... but i think he knows he had a human mother cos of the documents, cos that was part of the experiment can't skip out that bit.) Burning down a town is very wrong, but i can understand why he did it... Its cos he is smarter and stronger and like- the best at everything, attributing this to jenova and looking at the research- he takes the task to make jenova's will reallity... anger and stuff at humans... made him burn the place... spose it might of been like when you get put in the wrong class in school. Also he is seemingly overjustifying from his belief that he is a monster but he would of solved that...
i think that if he 1. had known and had nice parents and 2. if he knew that he wasn't a monster... although that would of got overritten by the jenova superior thing... but he would be saner if he had freinds and stuff, although would still do whatever he was planning with jenova- or maybe he would of refused her- it says that he could have in... some ff thing... it would of been good if he refused her, but it is seeable why he diddn't...
my thoughts are very hard to write...

I like that drawing alot it's awesome, sephiroth is cool i'll admit that but Kadaj is my favorite XD

and i agree with zazaria and inco about sephiroth as well

Those are some very good points.... untill resently aka FF CC I didnt know he was good at all
