I wonder how far the Final Fantasy series will go. I thought after FFX, FF would be dead, but to my amazement, it has gone on quite well. I am impressed with the new FF13 videos and everyone seems hyped up about it, including all the versions after it. I think it would be great if there was a FF7 online type deal, such as with FF13. Just my thought.

all I hope is they don't carry on producing games for the sake of it. I'd be much happier if they said "Okay, we're not making any more" and leave us with the legacy of games already made, than to just churn out games that are nothing new, and cast a shadow on the rest of the series and its reputation.

I don't really think moving into more online territories would be the best idea, though I have faither in Square-Enix to help me change my mind

i would want a remake of ff VII it was such a good game why not
squar enix could do many things and hopefully they redo VII VIII IX

SquareEnix is crazy for not remaking FF7. I mean... that game is just... the best there is. I bought it like 4 times and played KH and FFT just for Cloud. Imagine an FF7 online like FF11 :p

I doubt that they would make a remake for along while.Because at the moment they have already 4 huge projects to finish.And by the time there done they might decide to do a remake.But there's more of a chace that only Vll will be done.Only for the fact that VIII and IX aren't as popular.

Ya, FF9 was a good inbetween break game. With KH, Squall is getting quite popular again... so I wonder about that.

i always thought final fantasy VIII was such a talktive game also talking nothing beats the X game that i say would be the goodest FF story yet

Kira's right... anyway Tetsuya Nomura sayd that the rumor of a FFVII PS3 remake was fake..... Some Guy invented it for make all of us FF fans suffer with a little lie

And I think they are really gonna make that remake..... but in a loooot of years... (because it'll have to rule)

Ya Squall, I got a feeling too that they might just do it, but they keep feeding the idea to increase expentency of the game. I bet in 10 years, people all over the world would storm the game. Maybe they are not realizing because of all the FF7 stuff and FF13 stuff that's out already. I know that when one game is bought another game suffers. Look at XBOX live? They finally have castlevania, but I know they could put so many other games there. If they put to many great xbox live games there, no one would by the disc games and would upset manufactury people. I bet once ff13 fades, they may look into it again.

yeah ffvii remake would be so big all the fans of just this game alone would die a remake would be great but i say the final fantasy series would never end cause it isnt the same story in every game theres different stories in each one except X-2

Maan I don't agree with you about another Online FF...... maan it's just... for example me.... I don't have a good Internet... and the FFXI I have is for PS2 and I don't have the money to buy what it takes yo play it so..... I didn't like that......

Anyway thay are not that desperated to do a FFXIV right after they finish their current proyects..... I mean... always the numerical FF's have the priority, Ex: They did FFXII, and also FF tactics advance, FFVII dirge, FVII AC..... etc....., anyway I would love a remake of the most famous FF's for PS3, I DO REALLY WANT THAT!

I wonderd wether FF would die, but i never gave up hope! and my hoping wish was granted! FF13 is going to be the most expensive project! as in a 100 billion yen, thats £450 million! and probably more! It could run for the next 10 years! Bloody Hell!!! There might be up to five or six Fabula Nova Crystallis games. Including FF13, FFv13, FFa13 and FFh13.

They are remaking it on PS3 for the 20th anniversersary.
