I've heard a lot of rumors on this.
I still think Lightning will be the main for this one. But my mind could still be changed.

And as for what I've heard elsewhere, that blonde guy could be the main character.

lol...Shiva main character thats not possible she has always been a some sort of spirit that helps you in the game...an aid i would call it....but as the main character thats not right...Square does has surpises but im pretty sure Lighting is what we really should focus on...she is the one on the trailer

As for the trailer I've watched, articles I've read. Lightning is none other than the Main Character for FF XIII. I bet she is but, who knows? Developers alone.

even if lightning isn't the main, just by being an playable character i am happy...still >< has main character would make more sense..

note: i don't know most of the characters names, but i guess ff13's character have been announced somewhere, i remember to accidentally close an website with the names of all ff13's characters, i didn't had time to read thanks to my tricky hand. curse you left hand D:

and Yes Square is most unpredictible.... they always seen to kill off cool Female charaters..... in their games

Shiva's a motorbike...why? i have no clue, but the funniest comment i saw was when someone said "any man would want to ride shiva anyday" i thought that was hilarious...and someone else began swearing and stuff...that confuzzled me.. O.o

anways, yeah, *prayes for Aerith to come* or atleast and Aerithy Like Character would be awesome!
