When will xbox get a shot??

When it came to Xbox and PS2 i was all for sony having the ff exclusive, but when 360 came out i snagged one and love it, the ps3 is way too expensive and i wish ff13 would come out for 360 as well but im guessing sony will keep the ff title on their system. but ff went to gamecube why the hell not xbox???

Well, they were with nintendo orginally and they probably have better ties. The box is very weak on rpgs and relys more shooting type games.

Well.... there is Final Fantasy IX (I don't remember wich one) for XBox, but its just because it's an Online game, and Xbox has that....

Now, who knows what Square-Enix will do... maybe they will relese something for Xbox 360... they can do at least one FF for it

I do actually hope they'll stick with sony when it comes to FF, cause I'm hoping to only have to buy one of the new consoles =P I have neither a Wii, PS3 or xbox 360, and if Square sticks with Sony, I'll only have to buy a PS3 =P if they were to start giving some of the FF games to xbox, I would have to need both xD.

i dont think they will microsoft and sony and are 2 companies that are in competition and micrsoft has teh shooting games like gears of war, halo, and more and there only for xbox so sony has the ff series and kh which keeps people wanting to buy the playstation if they give the ff series to xbox they willl lose money to a cheaper console

Eventually, money will or should convince Square to make games on Xbox 360. May not be Final Fantasy, but they will more then likely make more on both the 360 and PS3.

I have a theory about this.
The reason they refuse to go to Xbox, my be because they don't want to go into contract with Microsoft.

In cases like this, the companies sharing the contract must share the profit. And if Microsoft is asking for too much of the profits, (say 45%) Square my not want to go into the contract. Or they may try to haggle it down a bit.

I don't know, that's just a theory of mine.
